DM Die CANCOM IT Systeme AG hat im zurückliegenden Geschäftsjahr 2000 einen Konzern-Umsatz von 309 Mio. DM (Vorjahr 112 Mio. DM, Plus 176 %) erzielt. Das Konzern-EBIT-Ergebnis betrug 5,0 Mio. DM (Vorjahr 2,8 Mio. DM, Plus 79 %). Das Konzern-EBITDA belief sich auf 7,7 Mio. DM (Vorjahr 3,8 Mio. DM, Plus 103 %). Die Mitarbeiterzahl erhöhte sich von 207 auf 460. Das EBIT-Ergebnis ist vor dem Hintergrund der ursprünglichen Planung zu sehen, die für 2000 eine schwarze Null vorsah. Dem EBIT in Höhe von 6,5 Mio. DM im Systemhaus sollte ein gleich hoher Anlaufverlust von 6,5 Mio. DM durch den Beteiligungsbereich entgegen stehen. Das Kerngeschäft, das CANCOM Systemhaus, trug mit 7,2 Mio. DM zu dem EBIT-Ergebnis bei. Dagegen stehen Verluste im Beteiligungsbereich i.H.v. 2,2 Mio. DM. Der geringere Verlust im Beteiligungsbereich rührt unter anderem daher, dass sich ein Finanzinvestor an dem Tochterunternehmen Tendi AG, beteiligt hat. Aufgrund der nachhaltigen Geschäftsentwicklung und der guten Nachfrage nach den Produkten und Dienstleistungen der CANCOM- Gruppe geht der Vorstand für das laufende Geschäftsjahr von einer Fortsetzung der positiven Entwicklung aus. Im Kerngeschäft, der Systemhaussparte, wird eine weitere Fokussierung auf den Ausbau der Consulting-Dienstleistungen und der Softwareentwicklung für die grafische Industrie erfolgen. The group EBIT result totaled DM 5,0 million (up 79 % as compared to DM 2,8 million in the previous year). The group EBITDA amounted to DM 7,7 million (up 103 % as compared to DM 3,8 million in the previous year). The number of employees increased from 207 to 460. This result should be viewed in light of the original planning to reach a balanced result. It was planned that the positive EBIT of 6.5 million DM in the system integration business would be equilibrated by the initial losses of 6.5 million DM in the holdings. The CANCOM system integration business, the core business, contributed DM 7,2 million to the EBIT result. On the other hand, losses of DM 2,2 million, were registered in holdings. A financial investors purchase of a share in Tendi AG, was one of the reasons why losses in holdings were lower than planned. Based on long-term business development and the good demand for the products and services offered by the CANCOM group, the board expects continued positive development in the current business year. The CANCOM system integration business, the core business, will continue to concentrate on expanding consulting services and developing software for the graphic industry.
