Sub : Change in the constitution of the Board / Executive Director Ref : Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulation, 2015

This is to inform the Exchanges that in exercise of powers conferred by the proviso to clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970, read with sub-paragraph (I) of paragraph 8 of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970, the Central Government vide Gazette Notification F. No. 4/2/2020-BO.I dated 26.02.2021 has appointed Shri Matam Venkata Rao, Executive Director, Canara Bank, as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in Central Bank of India for a period of three years with effect from the date of assumption of office on or after 01.03.2021, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

He ceases to be Executive Director of Canara Bank w .e. f. 01.03.2021.
