Dear Sir/Madam,

Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements), Regulations 2015, we wish to inform you that the Company has received notice [No. MPCB/ROT/CD/210209005] dated February 9, 2021 from the Regional Officer, Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (“MPCB”) for closure of the Company’s manufacturing unit situated at Plot D‐ 2/3, MIDC, Tarapur, District Palghar, within 72 hours from receipt of the aforementioned notice, on account of alleged violations of the provisions of Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, and the rules made thereunder.

We further wish to inform you that the operations of the Company have at all times been carried out in compliance with all the applicable laws and the Company shall continue to do so in future. The aforesaid direction issued for closure of the Company’s aforesaid unit is arbitrary, not based on facts and hence not legally tenable. Accordingly, the Company is taking necessary steps to provide suitable response to the said notice.
