Cambi commences the THP upgrade project at Ringsend in Dublin
Asker, Norway, 19 January 2023
Reference is made to the previous stock exchange notice by Cambi ASA on 3 September 2021 regarding a framework agreement signed with Irish Water.
Cambi has now entered an Equipment Supply Agreement (ESA) with Murphy Process Engineering, Irish Water's main contractor, for a comprehensive Sludge Line Enhancement project at the Ringsend wastewater treatment plant in Dublin.
Early Works comprising detail engineering commence today and are expected to be completed in the first half of 2023. Procurement, manufacturing and site work will follow, pending a notice to proceed. The contract value for the upgrade project is classified as a sizeable contract for Cambi. The received Early Works order amounts to 20% of the contract value.
The project progresses as indicated in September 2021, with completion envisaged before the end of 2024.
