Calix Limited (ASX: CXL) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Calix Limited (‘CXL’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of CXL, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 19 March 2021 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for trading halt

Calix Limited (ACN 117 372 540 ) (ASX: CXL) ( Calix ) requests that ASX Limited ( ASX ) grants an immediate trading halt with respect to its ordinary shares.

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, and in support of its request, Calix advises that:

• it requests the trading halt in order to finalise the details of a proposed capital raising to fund opportunities to accelerate growth;

• it requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of the time it makes an announcement to the market about the results of proposed capital raising, and commencement of trading on 19 March 2021; and

• it is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, or any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
