Item 8.01 Other Events.

On February 1, 2022 Calavo Growers, Inc. issued a press release announcing that Director and former interim Chief Executive Officer Steven Hollister will replace Link Leavens as Chairman of the Board. This move will coincide with Brian Kocher starting his appointed position as the new Chief Executive Officer on February 1, 2022, as disclosed on Form 8-K on December 22, 2021. Link Leavens will remain on the Board of Directors. A copy of our press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference.
