The Manager Australian Securities Exchange Company Announcements Office
Dear Sir
Placement to Sophisticated Investors
The Board of FYI Resources Limited (ASX: FYI) is pleased to advise that it has finalised the placement of 6 million shares at 10 cents each to sophisticated investors to raise $600,000 before costs of the issue.
4.9 million shares raising $490,000 will be issued immediately to clients of Bligh Capital Pty Ltd with the remaining 1.1 million shares to be issued to entities associated with FYI’s CEO and Directors, subject to shareholder approval.
The raising was priced at a premium to FYI’s current share price reflecting the confidence of the new shareholder base and that of the directors and management in FYI’s business and growth strategy.
The funds raised will be used for ongoing evaluation of the Company’s existing projects, review of new exploration and development opportunities and for general working capital.
About FYI Resources
FYI Resources is a recently reconstructed entity that is now ideally structured to take advantage of the company’s growth strategy within the resources sector.
FYI has positioned itself in a niche role within the resources / energy sector and intends to build value through the identification, exploration and development of specific assets which compliment and align with management’s vision on the company’s future.
Yours faithfully
David Sparling Chairman
