FYI Resources Limited (ASX: FYI) – Trading Halt (2+2)

Description

The securities of FYI Resources Limited (‘FYI’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of FYI, pending it releasing an announcement regarding a capital raising. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 17 August 2020 or when the announcement is released to the market.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

FYI Resources Limited (FYI or the Company) requests an immediate Trading Halt on its securities and provides the following information pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1:

• the Company expects to make an announcement to the market regarding a capital raising to sophisticated and professional investors;

• the Company wishes the trading halt to last until the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 17 August 2020 – that is four trading days, effective from Tuesday, 11 August to Friday 14 August 2020, so as to allow the Company to plan and secure commitments for the proposed capital raising;

• FYI is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted; and

• the Company is not aware of any further information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
