Priority offer for Empire shareholders in capital raising for uranium exploration company

Empire Resources Limited is pleased to announce a priority offer for Empire shareholders to participate in a capital raising for FYI Resources Ltd. Shareholders will be offered a priority entitlement of $500,000 in a capital raising of up to $2,500,000 by Freedom Eye Ltd.

Freedom Eye Ltd, to be renamed FYI Resources Ltd., has agreed to purchase Empire’s Yarlarweelor uranium project in Western Australia. At the completion of this acquisition and maximum capital raising, Empire will hold 28.78% of the issued capital of FYI Resources Ltd as well as having two representatives on the board of directors.

A letter detailing the offer is being sent to all Empire shareholders in Australia and New Zealand. A prospectus and application forms are available on the Empire website at www.resourcesempire.com.au. The prospectus is being sent to all shareholders holding ten thousand shares or more, but is available to all other shareholders.

Empire’s managing director, David Sargeant, stated: “This priority offer for the proposed capital raising will enable Empire shareholders to participate in the activities of a well funded uranium exploration company with an exciting property containing numerous previously identified occurrences of uranium mineralization in drill holes.

“We are optimistic about the long term future of uranium prices and note that uranium exploration and mining in Western Australia has the support of both state and federal governments.”
