Ahlstrom Corporation has on September 26, 2014 received announcements under
Chapter 9, Section 5 of the Securities Market Act.

Ahlström Capital Oy has sold 4,674,802 shares in Ahlstrom Corporation,
representing a total of 10.02% of the share capital and voting rights, to AC
Invest Six B.V. Ahlström Capital Oy's direct shareholding in Ahlstrom
Corporation has decreased below the 10% (1/10) and 5% (1/20) thresholds.

AC Invest Six B.V. now holds 4,754,479 shares in Ahlstrom Corporation,
representing a total of 10.19% of the share capital and voting rights of
Ahlstrom Corporation. The shareholding of AC Six Invest B.V. in Ahlstrom
Corporation has exceeded the 5% (1/20) and 10% (1/10) thresholds.

AC Invest Six B.V. is a 100% owned subsidiary of Ahlström Capital B.V. and
Ahlström Capital B.V. is a 100% owned subsidiary of Ahlström Capital Oy.

Ahlstrom Corporation's share capital consists of 46,670,608 shares, each
entitling to one vote.
