COMPANY SECRETARY RETIREMENT AND APPOINTMENT
The Board of BWP Management Limited, the responsible entity for BWP Trust, today announces that Ms Karen Lange intends to resign as Company Secretary & Compliance Manager effective 1 November 2024, having notified the Board earlier in the year of her desire to retire during 2024 once a suitable replacement had been identified.
In finding a suitable and highly capable successor for Ms Lange, the Board has appointed Mr Warren Baillie as General Counsel & Company Secretary effective 1 November 2024. Mr Baillie is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer, qualified chartered secretary and director. He joins BWP Management Limited from Woodside Energy Group Ltd where he worked for 19 years in senior legal and governance roles, including 12 years as Group Company Secretary. Mr Baillie holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce and has also completed post graduate qualifications with the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Governance Institute of Australia.
Managing Director, Mark Scatena, thanked Ms Lange for her significant contribution and support to the Board and management team over the last 16 years and congratulated Mr Baillie on his appointment.
“Karen has provided invaluable support, counsel and guidance to the Board and management team in her role as Company Secretary & Compliance Manager,” Mr Scatena said. “On behalf of the Board and management team we wish Karen well in her future endeavours and warmly welcome Warren and look forward to working with him.”
