MANAGING DIRECTOR RETIREMENT

The Board of BWP Management Limited, the responsible entity for BWP Trust, announces that Managing Director, Michael Wedgwood has provided notice of his intention to retire in the second half of calendar year 2023.

The Chairman of BWP Management Limited, Mr Tony Howarth AO, thanked Mr Wedgwood for his significant contribution to the BWP Trust and its unitholders over the last 10 years.

“In the period since Michael commenced as Managing Director in 2014, BWP Trust has delivered above-market total returns,” Mr Howarth said. “Michael will leave BWP Trust well-positioned for the future, with a high-quality portfolio of assets, a strong and flexible balance sheet, and significantly enhanced environmental and sustainability credentials.

“The Board and I offer our sincere thanks to Michael for his leadership of the Trust, and for the financial discipline and unitholder focus that he has brought to his role.”

Michael’s early notice will allow the Board sufficient time to identify his replacement and complete an orderly handover.
