Conclusione della cessione ramo aziendale cemento da parte di Kosmos Cement Company
Nella notte Buzzi Unicem ha avuto notizia che Kosmos Cement Company, partenariato con sede in Kentucky, in cui una nostra controllata detiene il 25% di partecipazione, ha eseguito la transazione con Eagle Materials Inc. in base all'accordo sottoscritto il 26 novembre 2019 e divulgato al mercato nella stessa data.
In particolare Kosmos Cement Company ha venduto sostanzialmente tutte le sue attività a Eagle Materials Inc. per un corrispettivo di circa 665 milioni di dollari. Il ramo aziendale oggetto di cessione è costituito dalla cementeria di Louisville (KY) e dalle attività ad essa correlate, che comprendono sette terminali di distribuzione e le riserve di materie prime. Il corrispettivo netto ottenuto da questa cessione sarà distribuito ai soci, sulla base delle rispettive quote di partecipazione.

Closing of the disposal of cement assets by Kosmos Cement Company
During the night Buzzi Unicem has been informed that Kosmos Cement Company, a Kentucky partnership, in which a subsidiary of ours holds a 25% partnership interest, has completed its transaction with Eagle Materials Inc. according to an agreement signed on 26 November 2019 and disclosed to the market on the same date.
In particular Kosmos Cement Company has sold substantially all of its assets to Eagle Materials Inc. for approximately 665 million dollars. The assets being divested consist of the cement plant in Louisville (KY) as well as related assets, which include seven distribution terminals and raw material reserves. The net proceeds obtained from this transaction will be distributed to the partners, according to their respective partnership interests.
