Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, March 1, 2011 – Bureau Veritas is pleased to announce the acquisition of Scientige Sdn Bhd, a company based in Malaysia and specialized in asset integrity management services.
Founded in 2005, Scientige offers a broad spectrum of asset integrity management and risk and safety related services to oil and gas companies operating in Malaysia. Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Scientige employs a multi-disciplinary team of 80 people and generated revenue of €5 million in 2010.
With an expertise complementary to that of Atomic Technologies (acquired in February), this transaction allows Bureau Veritas to reinforce its asset management integrity offering for the oil and gas industry in Southeast Asia.
