Patrik Tigerschiöld proposed as new Board Chairman

-- Vice President Henrik Blomquist to become Acting CEO.

The nominating committee of Bure Equity proposes that the company's current CEO Patrik Tigerschiöld be appointed as Board Chairman. At the same time, Bure's Vice President Henrik Blomquist is proposed as Acting CEO.

The current Board Chairman Björn Björnsson, who has been Chairman since 2010 and a member of the Board since 2002, has declined re-election.

''The nominating committee's assessment is that this is the best possible solution to safeguard the company's business and continuity. Patrik is Chairman of Bure's portfolio companies Micronic Mydata, PartnerTech and Vitrolife,'' says Lars Olofsson, chairman of Bure's nominating committee.

Patrik Tigerschiöld has been CEO of Bure since 2010 and was previously Board Chairman during the period 2004-2009. Patrik was CEO of Skanditek during 1999-2010.

Provided that the Annual General Meeting on 22 April approves the nominating committee's proposal, it is the Board's intention to appoint the company's Vice President Henrik Blomquist as Acting CEO. He has worked for Bure since 2010 and was previously active as an investment manager at Skanditek since 1999. Henrik is 42 years old and holds an M. Sc. in Economics from Stockholm University.
