Dear Madam/Sir,

Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 and other applicable provisions, we would like to inform that, SEBI vide its Letter No. SEBI/HO/MRD/RAC2/P/OW/2025/1449/1 dated January 14, 2025, has approved the appointment of Shri Shamanna Balasubramanya as Public Interest Director (PID) on the Board of BSE Limited for a period of three (3) years, subject to compliance with all the declarations / undertakings as specified.

In view of the above, the Board of Directors has appointed Shri Shamanna Balasubramanya as PID on the Board of Company with effect from January 23, 2025, for a period of three (3) years.

Disclosure required as per SEBI Circular SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD-1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated July 13, 2023, is enclosed as Annexure I. This intimation will be made available on the Company’s website www.bseindia.com.

BRIEF PROFILE

Shri Shamanna Balasubramanya is based in Bangalore and has over 38 years of international experience with expertise in solution implementation and management across North America, the UK, Europe, Latin America, India, and Asia. He is a BE in Mechanical Engineering from University of Mysore and Master of Technology in Industrial Management from IIT Madras. He has completed Master of Law LLM, IPR, Entertainment and Cyber Laws from University of Southern California and has pursued PG Diploma in Environmental Law from National Law School of India Limited. Shri Shamanna has previously worked with Tata Consultancy Services Limited and PSI Data Systems.
