The Company wishes to announce that at today’s Board meeting, the directors considered a letter from Mark Foley who advised that after 10 years as Managing Director of BSA, he wished to retire from the position of M.D. due to personal reasons.
The Board has accepted Mark’s decision which will take effect from the date of the Annual General Meeting which is to be held in late October 2010.
Mark was originally charged with restructing the Company and working through the tax and debt issues the Company was burdened with in the early years. The Company has grown significantly under his guidance. Mark has been a driving force in the recent period in which the Company has accepted the challenge of diversifying its focus as foreshadowed in its strategic plan. In particular Mark has played a significant role in the acquisitions of both Triple M and Allstaff groups in recent times as part of the diversification of the Company.
We would like to thank Mark on his achievements and dedication to revitalizing BSA into the company we have today. The Board believes the Company is well placed for future growth, lead by a team of dedicated executive managers and staff.
The Board respects Mark’s decision and will now focus on the appointment of a replacement for Mark.
The board is pleased that Mark has advised the board that he intends to offer himself as a non-executive director at this year’s Annual General Meeting in October.
The Board also wishes to advise that the integration of Allstaff is progressing satisfactorily and confirms that the business is on track to deliver in line with market guidance.
