Appointment of Director

Red Fork Energy Limited (“Red Fork” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has strengthened its Board with the appointment of Mr. William Warnock as an independent nonexecutive director, effective immediately.

Mr. Warnock is a registered professional petroleum engineer whose impressive career spans 38 years and includes holding senior positions at Exxon USA, (Offshore Division Reservoir Engineering Manager) and Crystal Oil Company (Executive Vice President and COO).

He brings to the Company a wealth of financial, commercial and entrepreneurial experience acquired in the oil and gas industry. Brighton Energy was Mr. Warnock’s most recent successful venture, a natural gas exploration and production company which he formed in August, 1997. He was the majority owner, president and CEO of Brighton until its sale to Unit Petroleum and Chesapeake Energy in 2006. He also began Arapahoe Marketing Services in 1997 where he was Chairman and CEO. He held similar positions and was instrumental in founding Medallion Petroleum, Inc. (1985), MGM Gas Marketing (1987), InterCoast Oil & Gas Company (1992), and KCS Medallion Resources (1996).

Mr. Warnock will Chair various board committees.

Commenting on this appointment Red Fork Managing Director David Prentice, said: "We are delighted to welcome someone with such an outstanding reputation and long track record in the oil and gas industry to Red Fork’s Board. Bill’s appointment adds strong technical expertise to our board, and we look forward to Bill playing a key role in supporting our horizontal Mississippian development as drilling, completion and production continues.
