BROOKSIDE ENERGY LIMITED
TRADING HALT
The securities of Brookside Energy Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 25 January 2017 or when the announcement is released to the market.

RE: REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT
Brookside Energy Limited ( Brookside , or the Company ) ( ASX:BRK ) requests an immediate trading halt in the securities of the Company.
In accordance with ASC Listing Rule 17.1, I advise that:
-
a) the trading halt is requested pending an announcement by the Company in relation to an equity raising;
-
b) the trading halt is requested until the earlier of the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 26 January 2017 or the release of an announcement to the market concerning the equity raising; and
-
c) the Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
