With reference to the above cited subject, this is to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held today 3Pt March, 2021, approved the appointment of Dr. Urjit Patel, as an Additional Director of the Company in the category of Non-Executive and Independent Director with effect from 3Pt March, 2021 for a term of 5 years i.e., upto 30th March, 2026, subject to approval of the shareholders of the Company.

Dr. Urjit Patel fulfills the criteria of independence as required under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and the Rules framed thereunder and the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015

Further, the Company hereby confirms that Dr. Urjit Patel is not debarred from holding the office of director by virtue of any SEBI order or any other authority.

The disclosure required under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 read with SEBI Circular CIR/CFD/CMD/4/2015 dated 9th September, 2015 is enclosed as Annexure I.

(d)	Brief Profile	Dr. Urjit Patel served as Governor of the Reserve Bank of India. Before that, he was Deputy Governor in charge of monetary policy. Dr. Patel is Chairman of the Governing Body of the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy. He serves on the Investment Advisory Committee ofthe Army Group Insurance. Prior to public service, he had worked in the private sector for about fifteen years.
		Dr. Patel started his professional career at the International Monetary Fund. He has also been a Consultant to the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. He was Non Resident Senior Fellow, The Brookings Institution, Washington, D.C., 2009-2012 .
		Dr. Patel has served on numerous official task forces and high-level committees.
