Briscoe Group appoints Chief Operating Officer

Briscoe Group’s Managing Director, Rod Duke today announced the appointment of Andrew Scott as the Group’s Chief Operating Officer, following the recent retirement of Pete Burilin.

Rod Duke said, “Originally from the United Kingdom and with a substantial body of experience drawn from his time with Matalan Retail Limited, Andrew’s experience base includes working in countries as diverse as the United Kingdom, Australia, the Middle East and more recently, here in New Zealand.

“Andrew’s former roles include Head of Merchandise Planning & Supply Chain for Big W in Australia and Chief Executive Officer of Torpedo 7.

“Andrew will bring a set of skills and experience that will both complement and enhance the existing knowledge and capabilities that exist in the business.

“We expect Andrew to take up his new role in July.”
