Item 8.01 Other Events

On November 5, 2012, The Brink’s Company (the “Company”) took note of a press release issued by Shamrock Holdings, Inc. which included a letter addressed to the Company’s Board of Directors. The Company’s Board of Directors will review the letter in due course.
