Jens Birgersson to become new CEO

The Supervisory Board of Brenntag SE appointed Jens Birgersson as new CEO and Member of the Management Board effective September 1, 2025.

Jens Birgersson has held various management positions in international market leading companies of different industries. In his most recent position, he was President and CEO of ROCKWOOL Group in Denmark. Jens Birgersson will succeed the current CEO, Dr Christian Kohlpaintner, who is stepping down from his position on August 31, 2025.
