Brenntag CEO Dr. Christian Kohlpaintner will not extend his contract beyond 2025
Dr. Christian Kohlpaintner, Chief Executive Officer of Brenntag SE, the global market leader in chemical and ingredients distribution, has informed the Supervisory Board of Brenntag SE of his decision not to extend his contract, which runs until December 31, 2025, for personal reasons.
The manager, who will be 62 years old at the end of his term of office at Brenntag, has decided not to seek any further operational management responsibilities after that date.
The Supervisory Board of Brenntag SE will immediately initiate an orderly process for the CEO succession.
Until the end of 2025, Christian Kohlpaintner will continue to serve Brenntag SE with full commitment as CEO and ensure the smooth transition of his responsibilities to a successor.
Dr. Christian Kohlpaintner has been CEO and a member of the Board of Management of Brenntag SE since January 1, 2020.
