Further to its announcement on Friday 14 December 2018, the Company has been notified that Amit Bhatia, Deputy Chairman of Breedon Group plc, has purchased a further 400,000 ordinary shares of no par value in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') at a price of 56.44p per Ordinary Share*.  As a consequence, Mr Bhatia now has an interest in 500,000 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 0.03% of the Company's total voting rights.

*Shares acquired by Swordfish Investments LLP, a UK partnership owned 50% / 50% by Amit Bhatia and his wife
