Grant of SAYE Options

The Company has today been notified that Pat Ward, a director of the Company, is intending to participate in the Breedon Aggregates Savings Related Share Option Scheme (the "SAYE Scheme"). Under the terms of the SAYE Scheme, Mr Ward is committed to contributing £500 per month, over a three year period. As at 1 May 2019 the accumulated funds can then be withdrawn from the SAYE Scheme as cash or used to exercise options over the Company's ordinary shares which have been granted at 59.94 pence per ordinary share in accordance with the terms of the SAYE Scheme. Assuming full participation in the SAYE Scheme, Mr Ward would have an option over 30,030 shares in the Company.

As at today's date Mr Ward holds no ordinary shares in the Company.
