Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Intra Energy Corporation Limited ("IEC" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Michael Addison to its Board as a Non-Executive Director.

Raised in Zimbabwe, Michael attended the University of Cape Town, where he graduated as a Civil Engineer in 1980 before attending Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, where he completed a Masters Degree in Management Studies.

Michael spent the first half of his career as an investment banker based in London, Johannesburg and Hong Kong. He gained extensive experience in corporate finance activities, including mergers and acquisitions, IPO's, capital raisings and corporate restructuring. The second half of his career has been in mainstream corporate management as a senior executive on the Boards of publicly-listed mining and industrial companies in each of the London, Johannesburg and Australian Securities Exchanges. In these roles he developed deep expertise in the management and operations of listed companies as well as the regulatory, legal and governance environments under which they operate.

Over the last decade Michael has focused his expertise in the mining and energy sectors. He was instrumental in founding Endocoal Limited and Carabella Resources Limited, two ASX-listed coal exploration companies which were the subject of successful takeover offers from overseas conglomerates.

He is currently the founding Managing Director of Genex Power Limited, an ASX-listed company that specialises in the development of large-scale solar and hydro generation renewable energy projects.

In welcoming Michael to the Board of IEC on behalf of the Directors, Chairman Graeme Robertson remarked "the addition of Michael to IEC adds not only a financial and management dimension to the Company but a strong background in Africa. As IEC is increasing production of its high quality coal to support the industrialisation of Tanzania and with the potential for export development, a highly professional Board is essential in directing its future growth."
