CEO Peter Arndrup Poulsen to take up new position as CEO of Tvilum-Scanbirk

Peter Arndrup Poulsen has announced his decision to resign from the position as
CEO of Brødrene Hartmann A/S to take up the position as CEO of Tvilum-Scanbirk
in Fårvang, north of Silkeborg, Denmark.

Peter Arndrup Poulsen will join Tvilum-Scanbirk on 1 December 2010 and will
continue with Brødrene Hartmann in his present function until a replacement has
been found and has joined the company. He will, however, leave on 30 November
2010 at the latest.

"My job with Brødrene Hartmann is one of the best jobs in Denmark, where I enjoy
working with our Board and with many good and highly competent colleagues. The
reason why I have nonetheless chosen to change jobs is that I received an
attractive offer from another exciting company, which is based in Jutland where
my wife and three children live. I have worked with Hartmann for four years,
being based in Gentofte, but I now feel that the time has come for me to move
back to my family," said Peter Arndrup Poulsen.

"The Board of Directors understands and respects Peter's reasons for choosing a
job closer to his family and his home in Jutland, but we naturally regret his
decision to leave Hartmann. Peter has played an important role in the
implementation of Hartmann's highly successful turnaround, which was completed
about a year ago. We are now well underway in the process of achieving our goal
of an EBIT margin of 10% in 2010. Hartmann is enjoying good momentum and has
created a solid platform for further growth. The Board of Directors would like
to thank Peter for his invaluable efforts during his four years with Brødrene
Hartmann A/S and wish him the best of luck in his new job," said Walther Vishof
Paulsen, acting Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors will initiate the process of recruiting a new CEO in
collaboration with Heidrick & Struggles, Executive Search.
