BrainChip Holdings Ltd (ASX: BRN) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of BrainChip Holdings Ltd (‘BRN’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of BRN, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Thursday, 25 July 2024 or when the announcement is released to the market.

BrainChip Holdings Ltd – Request for Trading Halt

Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, BrainChip Holdings Ltd ( BRN, ASX: BRN) requests the immediate implementation of a trading halt in its securities, being fully paid ordinary shares, to apply from the time of receipt of this request by ASX and until the earlier of the Company making an announcement relating to a capital raise, or the commencement of trading on Thursday, 25 July 2024.

For the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 17.1, BRN provides the following information:

1. Reason for the trading halt – the trading halt is requested to allow the capital raise to take place in an orderly manner.

2. Duration of the trading halt – BRN expects the trading halt will be in place until the earlier of the time at which BRN makes an announcement in relation to a capital raise, or the commencement of trading on Thursday, 25 July 2024.

3. Termination of the trading halt – BRN anticipates the trading halt will cease upon the release of an announcement to ASX.

4. No reason –BRN is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.

5. Further information – there is no further information in relation to this request.
