Braemar Shipping Services Plc (LSE: BMS), a leading international provider of shipbroking, financial advisory and logistics services to the shipping and energy industries, announces that it has received notification of the purchase of ordinary shares of 10p each in the capital of the Company ("Shares") by two of its Directors, James Gundy, Group Chief Executive Officer, and Nigel Payne, Chairman.

James Gundy bought 20,000 Shares at 254.5 pence per Share, and Nigel Payne bought 6,400 Shares at 250 pence per Share.

Following these transactions, the total holding of Shares of each of James Gundy and Nigel Payne (including those of persons closely associated with them) is as follows:
