Notification of transaction by Directors / Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility and their Closely Associated Persons

Braemar Shipping Services plc (LSE: BMS), a leading international provider of broking, financial, consultancy, technical and logistics services to the shipping, marine, energy, offshore and insurance industries, announces that it was notified on 10 July 2018 that the trustee of the Braemar Employee Share Ownership Plan has approved the release of 7,107 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to James Kidwell, Chief Executive of the Company.

The release of the Ordinary Shares was made on 10 July 2018 following the vesting, on 22 June 2018, of the Ordinary Shares awarded to James Kidwell at nil cost under the Company's Deferred Bonus Plan in relation to the year ended 28 February 2015.

Following the release of these Ordinary Shares, James Kidwell's total holding of Ordinary Shares (including those of persons closely associated with him) is 152,356 representing approximately 0.48% of the Company's issued share capital.
