Employee Share Scheme and PDMR Dealing

Braemar Shipping Services plc (LSE: BMS), a leading international provider of broking, consultancy, technical and other services to the shipping, marine, energy, offshore and insurance industries, is pleased to announce that it has launched a Save as You Earn share scheme for all employees (the "SAYE Scheme"). Under the SAYE Scheme, employees have been offered the opportunity to participate in the future growth of the Company through the granting of share options.

Eligible employees were invited to subscribe for options over ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") with an exercise price of 245.04 pence per share, representing a 20% discount to the closing mid-market price of the Ordinary Shares over the three days prior to the invitation to participate which was made on 24 May 2017. The options have a savings contract start date of 1 August 2017 and are exercisable between 1 August 2020 and 1 February 2021.

Certain Executive Directors and PDMRs have elected to participate in the scheme as follows:

Awards were made to the following PDMRs in relation to their annual bonus payments in respect of the 2016/2017 financial year, of which a portion was deferred into Company shares which vest in three years from the date of grant:
