Openbaarmaking van transparantiekennisgeving

(artikel 14 van de wet van 2 mei 2007 met betrekking tot de openbaarmaking van belangrijke deelnemingen in beursgenoteerde vennootschappen)

bpost maakt een kennisgeving openbaar die zij heeft ontvangen van BlackRock, Inc (en verbonden vennootschappen) met toepassing van de wet van 2 mei 2007 met betrekking tot de openbaarmaking van belangrijke deelnemingen in beursgenoteerde vennootschappen.

1. Samenvatting van de kennisgeving

In een kennisgeving gedateerd op 18 mei 2018, heeft BlackRock, Inc., mede namens de door haar gecontroleerde ondernemingen zoals in de kennisgeving uiteengezet, meegedeeld dat, ten gevolge van een transactie in bpost effecten gedateerd op 17 mei 2018, de deelneming van BlackRock, Inc. (evenals de door haar gecontroleerde ondernemingen) als volgt gewijzigd is:

• het aantal gehouden stemrechtverlenende effecten is gestegen en overschreed de drempel van 3%;
• het aantal gehouden gelijkgestelde financiële instrumenten is gedaald zonder de drempel van verplichte bekendmaking te overschrijden.

BlackRock, Inc. (evenals de door haar gecontroleerde ondernemingen) houdt nu een deelneming die 4,13% van de stemrechten in bpost vertegenwoordigt.

2. Overschreden drempel

Overschreden drempel: 3%

Artikel 13 van de statuten van bpost bepaalt het volgende inzake openbaarmaking van belangrijke deelnemingen: "In toepassing van Titel II van de Wet van 2 mei 2007 op de openbaarmaking van belangrijke deelnemingen in emittenten waarvan aandelen zijn toegelaten tot de verhandeling op een gereglementeerde markt en houdende diverse bepalingen en het koninklijk besluit van 14 februari 2008 op de openbaarmaking van belangrijke deelnemingen, worden de toepasselijke opeenvolgende drempelwaarden vastgesteld op 3%, 5% en ieder veelvoud van 5%."
