Appointment of Chair, Deputy Chair and Chief Executive Officer

Modena – 19 April 2024. Notice is hereby given that, at its meeting today, the Board of Directors of BPER Banca S.p.A. resolved to appoint Fabio Cerchiai as Chair of the Board of Directors, Antonio Cabras as Deputy Chair and Gianni Franco Papa as Chief Executive Officer.

Fabio Cerchiai, Chair of BPER, commented: "With the appointment of this Board, the Bank begins a new three-year journey during which it will stand up to new challenges and consolidate the important goals achieved so far. We will work right away for the best start of this journey in view of the commitments that await us".

Gianni Franco Papa, Chief Executive Officer of BPER, added: "I am honoured by the appointment and I would like to thank the Board of Directors for the trust they have placed in me. BPER is today one of the main players in the Italian economic landscape and we will work to consolidate the Bank's positioning and continue its growth.
