Paris, 11 July 2016 - Today Bouygues Telecom announces it has signed a definitive agreement with Cellnex for the sale of 230 towers in France for the sum of €80 million. According to the agreement's terms, this number of towers could be increased to 500.
Within the scope of this operation, Bouygues Telecom and Cellnex concluded a 20-year hosting and service framework agreement.
Bouygues Telecom will use the proceeds of this transaction to continue developing its mobile and fixed activities.
Cellnex is a leading European player in the management of telecoms infrastructure for operators in Europe.
