Alstom's contribution to Bouygues' first-quarter and second-quarter 2013 net profit
On 7 May 2013, Alstom reported results for its financial year 2012/13 ended on 31 March 2013.
On the basis of this information and given the difference between the end of the financial years of Alstom (31 March) and Bouygues (31 December), Alstom's contribution to Bouygues' net profit in firstquarter 2013 stood at €58 million, the same amount as in first-quarter 2012.
On the basis of currently available information, Alstom's contribution to Bouygues' net profit in secondquarter 2013 is estimated at €59 million versus €57 million in second-quarter 2012.
In accordance with the calculation method used by Bouygues, this contribution is assessed from Alstom's last reported half-year figures available at the date the Bouygues group will close its half-year financial statements, ie Alstom's second-half FY2012/13.
First-quarter 2013 sales and earnings of the Bouygues group will be reported on 14 May 2013 at 5.45pm (CET).
