Alstom's contribution to Bouygues' first-quarter and second-quarter 2012 net profit
On 4 May 2012, Alstom reported results for its full year 2011/12 ended on 31 March 2012.
On the basis of this information and given the difference between the end of the financial years of Alstom (31 March) and Bouygues (31 December), Alstom's contribution to Bouygues' net profit in the first quarter 2012 stood at €58 million versus €23 million in the first quarter 2011.
On the basis of currently available information, Alstom's contribution to Bouygues' net profit in the second quarter 2012 is estimated at €57 million versus €71 million in the second quarter 2011.
In accordance with the calculation method used by Bouygues, this contribution is assessed from Alstom's last reported half-year figures available at the date the Bouygues group will close its half-year financial statements, i.e. Alstom's second half of FY2011/12.
First-quarter 2012 sales and earnings of the Bouygues group will be reported on 15 May 2012 at 5.45pm (CET).
