Liquidation of Interest in Bugeco

The board of Botswana Diamonds plc ("Botswana Diamonds") (AIM: BOD) is pleased to announce that it will receive in the coming days approximately $340,000 from the liquidation of its interest in Bugeco, a private Belgian company which held an interest in an exploration concession in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

The funds will be used in the exploration programme in the Orapa area of Botswana conducted in joint venture with our partner Alrosa, the Russian diamond company.
