RE: SECTION 708A NOTICE: ISSUE OF SECURITIES

Botala Energy Ltd ( Botala or the Company ) (ASX Code: BTE) hereby gives notice to the ASX for the purpose of section 708A(5)(e) of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) ( Corporations Act ) that it has issued 6,500,000 fully paid ordinary shares in the Company without disclosure to investors under Part 6D.2 of the Corporations Act.

The Company states in accordance with section 708A(6) of the Corporations Act that:

• This notice is being given under section 708A(5)(e) of the Corporations Act;

• as at the date of this notice, the Company has complied with the relevant provisions of Chapter 2M of the Corporations Act as they apply to the Company and Sections 674 and 674A of the Corporations Act; and

• there is no excluded information within the meaning of Sections 708A(7) and 708A(8) of the Corporations Act which is required to be disclosed under section 708A(6)(e) of the Corporations Act, except for (at the date of this cleansing notice), Botala being in discussions with third parties in connection with potential transactions. These potential transactions are subject to ongoing negotiations and the parties agreeing on binding documentation and, as such, investors are cautioned not to place undue reliance on any such transactions materialising. The Company will keep the market updated in accordance with its continuous disclosure obligations.
