Borregaard: New long-term loan facility

7 March 2014: Borregaard ASA ("Borregaard", OSE ticker: BRG)

Borregaard ASA has entered into a EUR 40 million, ten-year loan agreement with

the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB).

In accordance with NIB's mandate, which is to finance projects to improve

competitiveness and the environment of the Nordic and Baltic countries, the loan

will contribute to financing Borregaard's R&D programme for 2013-2016 and the

recently commissioned biological purification plant.
