Joint venture for promotion of Midlands site signed

Henry Boot PLC, a company engaged in land promotion, property investment and development, and construction has entered into a 50/50 joint venture through its subsidiary, Hallam Land Management Limited ("Hallam") with Harworth Estates Investments Limited ("Harworth"), part of Harworth Group plc, to promote a further strategic land opportunity in the Midlands for residential development.

John Sutcliffe, Chief Executive Officer of Henry Boot, said:

"This deal represents a further investment by Henry Boot in the Midlands, a clear reflection of the underlying strength of the local residential market.  We look forward to working with Harworth on this opportunity."

Notes

This is the second of two planned joint venture arrangements between Hallam and Harworth, the first of which was the subject of a Regulatory News Service announcement on 29 October 2019.
