Appointment of Advisors
On 7 July 2009, Boom Logistics Limited (“Boom”) provided a market update which included confidential soundings in respect of a proposed equity raising and the receipt of an unsolicited merger proposal.
Boom has engaged Lazard Pty Ltd and Freehills to provide advice on a range of opportunities that will support Boom’s strategy of increasing its market position whilst strengthening its balance sheet and maximising value for all shareholders.
As previously indicated, Boom expects that this evaluation process will take several months to complete and the Company is not in a position to indicate at this time whether or not any particular opportunity will proceed. In all other respects, Boom will be conducting its business as usual.
