Working experience and occupation	Mr. Chia Khek Ping ("Mr. Chia") currently sits on the boards of directors of several subsidiaries within BM GreenTech Berhad Group, including Boilermech Sdn Bhd, BM TEK Sdn Bhd, Tera VA Sdn Bhd and Plus Xnergy Holding Sdn Bhd. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, United States of America, awarded in 2007. He brings over fifteen years of professional experience spanning chemical engineering, oleochemicals, and water treatment technologies. Mr. Chia began his career as a Senior Process Engineer with Meta Engineering Sdn Bhd from 2009 to 2016, where he led the process design, engineering, procurement, and commissioning of oleochemical plants, including glycerine and fatty acid facilities. He subsequently joined BM TEK Sdn Bhd as a Project Manager from 2017 to 2019, overseeing the execution of industrial projects across the general industrial and palm oil sectors. Since 2020, he has concurrently held the positions of Executive Director of BM TEK Sdn Bhd and Senior General Manager, Corporate Affairs of BM GreenTech Berhad. In these roles, he spearheads the expansion of engineering and membrane-based water treatment solutions for wastewater, potable water, and alternative industrial water applications. He also plays a key role in supporting the Group Executive Committee in strategic initiatives, including due diligence exercises for potential investments, mergers and acquisitions, and strategy development and execution. In addition, he contributes to business transformation, corporate communications, investment activities, and corporate governance. He was also instrumental in driving the corporate rebranding exercise for BM GreenTech Berhad and its subsidiaries in 2024.
