The new President of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte has publicly said he wants the standards of responsible mining in developed countries like Australia applied in the Philippines. As such the new government has ordered a review of all mining projects to ensure that the best standards are being applied.  Bluebird has been informed by RMM that the government has requested to show cause as to the status of the mining tenure of the Batangas Gold Project.
