Blue Energy Limited (ASX: BLU) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Blue Energy Limited (‘BLU’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of BLU, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 22 September 2021 or when the announcement is released to the market.

ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

Blue Energy Limited – Request for Trading Halt

Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1 Blue Energy Limited (ASX:BLU) (Blue Energy) requests that ASX grant a trading halt of its securities with immediate effect, from prior to commencement of trading Monday 20 September 2021 pending the release of an announcement with regard to a proposed capital raising.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1 Blue Energy Limited provides the following information:

1. The trading halt is requested pending an announcement to the ASX in relation to a proposed capital raising;

2. Blue Energy requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of:

   • (a) the commencement of normal trading on the ASX on Wednesday 22 September 2021; and

   • (b) the release of an announcement by Blue Energy to the ASX in relation to the proposed capital raising.

3. Blue Energy is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
