BlackRock World Mining Trust plcBoard changesRetirement of Director:As previously announced, Mr Oliver Baring will retire as a Director effective today.Appointment of Director:The Board is pleased to announce that Mr Russell Edey will be appointed as anon-executive director of the Company with effect from today. Mr Edey has beenthe chairman of Avocet Mining PLC since September 2010 and a non-executivedirector since July 2010. He served as a non-executive director of Old MutualPLC from June 2004 to May 2013 and retired as chairman of AngloGold AshantiLimited in May 2010 having been a member of that Company's board since 1998. Heis a non-executive director of several companies in the Rothschild Group, whichhe joined in 1977. Prior to that, he worked for Anglo American Corporation ofSouth Africa Limited in South Africa and Australia. Mr Edey is a charteredaccountant and will also serve as a member of the Company's Audit andManagement Engagement Committee.There are no further details or disclosures required under Section 9.6.13R(1-6) of the Financial Conduct Authority Listing Rules.Caroline DriscollCompany Secretary
