Departure of Director

On July 16, 2020, David Moss tendered his notice of resignation to China Xiangtai Food Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) due to personal reason. Mr. Moss currently serves as Company’s independent director, Chairperson of the Audit Committee and member of the Compensation and Nomination Committee Mr. Moss’s resignation shall become effective on August 1, 2020 and was not the result of any disagreement with the Company with respect to its operations, polices or practices. The Company has begun actively searching for qualified candidates to fill this vacancy and expects to identify such person by August 1, 2020 to remain compliant with Nasdaq Stock Market’s continuing listing requirement.
