On July 13, 2020, BioNTech SE (the “Company”) issued a press release, announcing that two investigational vaccine candidates from the Company’s and Pfizer’s BNT162 mRNA-based vaccine program (BNT162b1 and BNT162b2) received Fast Track designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
