Biohit starts statutory cooperation negotiations in Finland to improve efficiency and profitability

Biohit Corporation starts statutory cooperation negotiations in Finland
concerning its whole personnel to reorganize its operations. The actions are
aimed at improving the competitiveness and profitability of the Company.

The goal is to reach annual cost savings of approximately EUR 350.000 in fixed
costs. It is estimated that the cost savings would be implemented both by way
of reduction in workforce and through other measures. At the moment it is
estimated that the negotiations may result in reduction of five full time
employees in Finland.

The Company employed 29 people at the end of July. The negotiations are
expected to be completed during September 2012.
