Appointment of Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary

Bio-Gene Technology Limited (ASX: BGT, “Bio-Gene” or the “Company”), an agtech development company enabling the next generation of novel insecticides, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Drew Speedy as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Company Secretary effective from 1 February 2026.

Mr Speedy is a Certified Practising Accountant and member of the Governance Institute of Australia with more than 20 years’ experience in senior finance and company secretarial roles across ASX-listed and private companies. He is the founder and Director of DTS Corporate Pty Ltd, which provides CFO and company secretarial services to ASX listed and private entities.

Mr Speedy has extensive experience in all aspects of financial reporting, corporate governance, capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and ASX compliance. Mr Speedy will be the person responsible for Bio-Gene’s communications with ASX under Listing Rule 12.6.

Bio-Gene’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Tim Grogan, said: “We are pleased to welcome Drew to Bio-Gene. Drew brings deep experience in financial leadership, governance and ASX-listed company operations, which will be valuable as Bio-Gene continues to progress its development and commercialisation strategy.”

The Board thanks the outgoing Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary, Mr Edmond Tern, for his significant contribution to the Company over the last two years.
